Ez, Jo and baby Derek are moving on. It's so sad. :( We will miss them! Kenji will especially miss his little cousin Derek. He's grown very fond of him and will always include baby Derek in his prayers -- whether it be his breakfast, naptime, or get-out prayer. It's really quite precious.
A sweet couple, who have been our friends for a good long, long time, joined us in our special farewell Lasagna dinner we had for them last night. They will be boarding a 32 hour long bus at midnight tonight! Yucky! So keep them in your prayers, thanks!
In other news, the other day me and my sister Liz went out to provision C-mas decorations and the Lord supplied just about everything we had on our list! TYJ! That very night the boys (Kenji and Angel) helped me put our manger scene together. It was a first for Kenji and he just loved it! He behaved so well and didn't break a single little figurine or any other little prop.
I've explained to him that Christmas is Jesus' Birthday and the celebration of the great gift -- Salvation -- He gave to us a long, long time ago. He seems to understand it all real well and is very excited that soon it will be Jesus' Birthday as he is so anxious to sing the "Happy Birthday" song to Him. Ha!
