A whole year old today...

Wow, I can't believe that a whole entire year has gone by since my little baby boy was born. I miss cradling him in my arms and having him lie calmly while nursing for about 30 minutes. Now I can hardly cradle him in my arms as he's just about half my size :) and if I can get him to stay still to nurse for 15 minutes I'm doing good. Time just flew by and before I know it he will grow up and want to "spread his wings" and won't be my little baby boy anymore :( . That thought alone makes me sad, but it's the way life goes.

So, in honor of my little baby boy's birthday I have decided to make (and start) a blog for him. The main purpose for this blog is to keep family and friends abreast of all the cute happenings and doings of my one and only love, my baby boy Kenji.

Though some would say "why all the fuss to make a 1st birthday party" I will have to argue with that and say why not? It seems to me that the 1st birthday is a very important happening. It's a time that marks just how far they've come--from being tiny and helpless little babies who need your constant care to independent (or at least they try to be) adventurous, mischievous, "terrors" (a.k.a. toddlers). Well at least that's how I feel about my precious Kenji. Yep he's got a mind of his own now (not that he didn't before...ehe...but now he actually connives naughty things) and his personality/character is showing a lot more.

Anyway, here are some pictures of his 1st birthday party...hooray!!! It was nothing too grand just something simple and fun to remember his 1st birthday by. And yes, there may be a lot of pictures posted here but that's the goal ;).
