New spirit helpers

Last year Kenji learned a couple of spirit helpers (Tola, Tor, Aphrodite & his personal spirit helper - his uncle David). I've been slowly trying to introduce more spirit helpers, yet lacked a captivating way to present them to him until the Feast came along. Whoo-hoo!

I wanted to impart on Kenji the same spirit of the Feast as us big people were partaking and decided to read to him pretty much the same stories that were planned out for the big kids, of course in a revised version and with lots of other activities involved. He did pretty well when I required of him to sit still for a good 45 minutes while we read stories and did our memory and review.

He just loves to listen to stories, it's as if it all comes alive for him. Sometimes he'll even ask for just one more story when it's time to end devotions. Ha! He simply loves reading from the MLK's! And he'll make me read the same stories for naptime! My little Word worm. Heh!
In the kids Feast material there came several spirit helper paper dolls which I enlarged, colored, cut, and taped up on his wall. Most of them were totally new spirit helpers, but others he new (Aphrodite, Love Fairy & Natalia) already. I happened to find a paper doll of Change amongst my activity pages and thought it pretty fitting to introduce him as well, after all that's what the Feast was all about, right? TYJ!

As an extra added little something I told him we could pitch a tent (in our room that is) for the Feast and he was oh, so very excited, happy, thrilled, what have you! Simple joys, heh. After the 2nd night, my back was so sore, that he sweetly said we could sleep on the bed instead. Awww, my little angel! I love him!!
