Such a boy!

The other day grandma got him a "My Big Truck Book" and, oh boy, was he thrilled! He just loves cars or anything that has tires. You name it; cars, trucks, buses, trains, motorcycles, bikes, etc. Ever since he was about 8 months he loved to watch cars drive by our house, it fascinated him. He could spend hours, literally, just watching them.

But just recently his interest for playing with cars has come to the fore. And I don't mean just merely sort of rolling a car for a couple of minutes here and there. No, Kenji's car playtime involves so much more; sound effects, props, a storyline, and last but surely not least the way he plays with so much gusto just makes you want to sit there and watch him play. It's so cute to see him so enthralled in his "car world" when he plays.

Sometimes I wonder just where he gets all his ideas, actions, etc., when it comes to playing with cars. Perhaps it's just a boy instinct but I've been around other little boys before and not all seem to have such a big interest/fascination for cars and playing with them. It's rather cute how he is so into cars (and soccer balls too).

He was so happy with his new book and gave grandma a big smile to show his gratitude.

My, oh my, just look at those tires! Imagine how fun it would be to ride on one of those.

"Dear Jesus, I would really like to have a firetruck ..."

He's pretending to push the cars around.
